CRP Purpose

What is an Armed intruder/Active Shooter?
Notification to the VACU Executive Team relating to a crisis or emergency event.
What are Incident Command Notifications?
All VACU owned computers, peripherals, mobile devices and related infrastructure and software.
What are Technology Resources?
Usage of technology that is deemed necessary to fulfill one's job duties and responsibilities, unless prohibited or restricted elsewhere in these policies or by any other policies or procedures implemented by management.
What is Appropriate Use of Technology?
The unauthorized, illegal or inappropriate use of VACU's information assets and or technology resources. This can impair system availability, negatively impact service to members, damage VACU's reputation or ins some cases even be illegal.
What is Abuse?
A Crisis Incident where a Fire truck is needed.
What is a Fire or Explosion?
Individual Initiating Executive Team notifications and responses to emergencies or crisis events.
Who is the Crisis Response Coordinator?(Deb)
Maintains and establishes VACU networks and determines allowable connectivity methods, devices and other criteria.
What is the VACU IT Department?
This is permitted if it does not interfere with the normal job duties, is of insignificant cost, does not adversely affect the efficient operation or availability of a VACU system, does not cause harem or embarrassment to VACU or its members and complies with other aspects of VACU policies.
What is occasional and incidental personal use of technology resources?
Behavior that is subject to possible disciplinary action, up to and including termination and or legal action or criminal prosecution.
What is Abuse of VACU's Information and or technology resources?
A crisis incident that might include tornado's, hurricanes or other types of sever weather.
What is a Weather Disaster?
The Location at which the primary command functions are executed.

What are devices that are owned, configured and maintained by VACU?
This may not be used for personal business ventures. Nor may it be sued for any activities that may be considered threatening, offensive, obscene, inflammatory, discriminatory, or sexually explicit.
What Is VACU's technology resources?
Attempting to disable or circumvent a system configuration or security device, unauthorized access or changes to or unauthorized removal or destring of system accounts, passwords, files or data: Plagiarism or unauthorized copying of copyrighted programs or data; any intentionally disruptive behavior involving technology resources.
What are types of technology abuse?
A Crisis Incident where an employee might have to be decontaminated.

This kit contains emergency supplies and crisis response procedures
What is the Crisis Response Kit?
This wireless network is maintained for convenience of VACU vendors, services to VACU or authorized to use VACU's facilities.

Employees may not connect to, insert in, or use these with VACU computers, networks, mobile devices.
What are personally owned electronic media or portable data storage devices, hardware and software?
Takes over management of the employees, members, facilities and surrounding property when there is a called in incident. Policies and procedures implemented by those teams will supersede and override any Credit union policies and procedures.
Who are Law Enforcement, EMS or public safety officials?
Establishes a set of Standard Operating Procedures for the response to and management of incidents which present the potential of imminent risk to the safety of employees, members and facilities.
What is The Crisis Response Plan or CRP?
This department plan provides for continued business services during and after a crisis.
What is The Business Continuity Plan (BCP)?
This Wireless Access is not offered to employees or visitors.
What is public wireless access?
This is needed in order to take a picture, video or record audio in a VACU building.
What is Security Department Management Approval or the CIO approval?
These may both be implemented after an incident or only one of the two depending on the nature and duration of the incident.
What is the Crisis Response plan and the Business Continuity Plan?
Acute but shore incidents may be CRP. Incidents longer in duration may also require the implementation of BCP. The Executive Team will provide a recommendation on weather to implement the BCP.
