What is preparation?
This is a brief, one time ‘slip’ into the old behaviour, or a full return to previous behaviour patterns
What is relapse?
Person chooses to substitute new and interactions to support the desired change
What is countering?
A healthy body. Good physical health habits. Nutrition, exercise, and appropriate health care.
What is physical wellness?
This involves having healthy relationships with friends, family, and the community, and having an interest in and concern for the needs of others and humankind.

"There’s a part of me that wants to change, but Contemplation I think I’m okay with what I’m doing right now."
What is contemplation?
Creating, altering, or avoiding cues / stimuli that trigger or encourage a particular behaviour

This involves the ability to express feelings, adjust to emotional challenges, cope with life’s stressors, and enjoy life. It includes knowing our strengths as well as what we want to get better at, and living and working on our own but letting others help us from time to time.
