Is it Okay for someone not on the Rental Agreement to file a claim?

Yes, There has been an addition to our daily duties you need to be aware of. If you receive a call from someone other than our customer concerning an accident claim, we can help them. Once you enter the RA, proceed to the LDR call flow. The information you will be collecting will be under the heading of the Third Party Information. If they have any information pertaining to the renting customer, collect that as well. This will in turn begin the process of the LDR and the 3rd party will be contacted by the claims department.

You call building security to see if the vehicle has been impounded by their building security. Call local police impound line and ask if vehicle has been picked up. If not ask the customer to call and report the vehicle stolen or missing.
