is mainstream the same as an inclusive classroom?

No. Mainstreaming is based on the idea that students with special needs have to progress to a level to be able to "earn" being in the general ed classroom.

Inclusive is that all students, regardless of ability or need can be in a general education classroom and have full access to resources.

The post hoc model is when the special educator reveiws and reinforces what was already taught in the inclusive classroom.

Compare a flipped classroom to a regular classroom. In what situations would this work?

In a flipped classroom students receive the instruction virtually, and use class time to practice solve problems/have discussions/receive help. Basically homework time is during the classroom, and the learning occurs at home.

This could work very well during hybrid school reopening plans where students only come into the classroom part-time, and spend the rest as online learning.
