What is Educational Opportunity Program(EOP)?
If you are a student who wants to pursue his/her college in science, this is where you go.
What is the science department?

This allows you to apply for colleges without an application fee.

Money that is provided for students to help them pay for their college education.

The two nationwide placement exams that some colleges require for admission

Helps eligible New York State students who attend NYS colleges/universities pay their tuition.
What is the TAP program?
New York State opportunity program offered at four-year CUNY colleges.
What are is the SEEK program?
Gatherings where college representatives talk and answer questions regarding their schools.
What is a college fair?
A status colleges give to students who’s overall GPA fall under 2.0
What is academic probation?
Major key factor to WHERE you are going for college
What is Location?
Money that you receive to go to a college that has to be paid back.
What are student loans?
Opportunity program that supports 2 year CUNY college students
What is the College discovery program?
The amount of student compared to the number of teachers in the college
What is student-teacher ratio?
A way for students to take a course they’re interested in without earning credit or having it affect their gpa
What is an elective?
Letters students need to create relationships with teachers in order to receive
What are letters of recommendation?
Grants received to help and support a students education based on their academic and/or extracurricular achievements
What are scholarships?
If a student’s GPA falls below 2.0 and is on academic probation after two quarters You can be facing.
What is the STEP program?
To see how many people attend a specific college.
What is college population?
A Federal program which provides universities with funding to hire students for part-time jobs to help them pay for school while they attend
What is a Work study program?
A common policy colleges use to indicate that the candidate considers to be their top choice college/university.
What is Early Decision?
An application that determines if you are eligible for financial aid. This form is available October 1st.
