The link can be found in google classroom.
Will I have homework?
Yes. Each day you will be given something to do during your independent learning time.
What should I do if I want to answer or ask a question?
Raise your hand or type in the chat.
How often will grades be updated?
Grades will be updated by Friday each week.
What is Mrs. Reece's favorite drink?

How often do I need to log onto google meet for 4th hour?
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00-10:45. You will also log on every Friday from 10:00-10:30.
Homework is located under the "classwork" tab on google classroom.
Feel free to bring a drink with you for class, however, please do not plan on eating or chewing gum while we are together.

Does my camera have to be on during class?
YES! This is the easiest way to put a face with a name, since we cannot interact with you in person right now.
Will you be giving me hard copies of my assignments?
No. While we are learning remotely all assignments will be completed on the computer and submitted through google classroom. This may change once we move to a hybrid model.
What if I need to use the bathroom?
Type in the chat that you are using the restroom. Make sure your mic is muted before you leave.
What is a failing grade?
A failing grade is anything that is a 50% or lower.
Does my mic have to be muted at all times?
Yes and no. Your mic must be muted while I am talking, however, if you have a question, want to add something relevant to our conversation, or are asked a question, definitely unmute your mic!
Yes. Should you turn homework in late? No. Homework will be accepted late for full credit, as long as it is turned in during the quarter it was assigned. However, it is not suggested that you turn in homework late. When it's not completed it will make it very difficult for you to pass tests. Furthermore, I will not be reminding you to turn in late work.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you miss a class you are responsible for making up the work you missed. This can be done by finding me and asking about what was missed. I will guide you to what you need to do, however, it is your responsibility to get it finished.
Do you grade for completeness or correctness?
Both. Some assignments I will be looking for just completeness, however, most assignments will be graded for correctness.
What type of music does Mrs. Reece like to listen to?
ALL types!
What can be written in the chat box during class?
The chat should only be used for questions about content we are discussing in class, or any relevant information and/or comment you would like to add. The chat should not be used for side conversations with friends.
Will my grade go down if homework is turned in late?
Yes. You will be given a 50% until I receive your assignment.
Will I be marked tardy if I am late?
While we are learning remotely you will not be marked tardy. However, it is VERY important and expected that you are in class on time each day. We have a limited amount of time together, so every minute is crucial!
What percent is considered an A?
Anything from a 90%-100% is considered an A.
