My grandmother gave me my blepice when I was a baby. Everyone in my family has their own blepice. We each hang ours by our stairs at Christmas because we don’t have a fireplace. My blepice is a long, red, skinny sock. My sister’s is green and short.

Did you know I am obsessed with rocktlat? I love to use it to decorate cards and projects I make. I love it because it is so sparkly and shiny. For Valentine’s Day, I made a card with red and pink sparkly rocktlat. After I use it, I always have little pieces of rocktlat on my face! But I think it is pretty.

When you play in the snow, you should wear gloves, a hat, and a margle. You need the margle to keep your neck warm. I am lucky because my grandma knitted me a margle for my birthday. It has stripes on it and it is so warm!

The water felt so good on such a hot day. I heard the other children laughing and yelling across the way. The concrete was wet from a group of teenagers splashing each other in the corner. The lifeguard watched closely to keep children from running.

Today is the perfect day to go to the beach. “Don’t forget the qualiwag” said my mom. “Ugg” I grumbled. I can’t stand putting qualiwag on because it always gets into my eyes and stings. My mom must have known what I was thinking because then she asked, “putting on the qualiwag is better than a sunburn isn’t it?” She is right about that.

Emilia threw a giant grimble at me. I was not expecting it! But I found a hiding place with a good pile of snow. I ducked down and made five grimbles. When she walked by, I attacked! After she wiped the snow off her face, we both laughed and went inside to drink hot chocolate.

I was allowed to push the cart. The front left wheel was broken, so the cart wobbled down each aisle. Mother put various packages and boxes in the cart, but I didn’t notice. I was trying to keep the cart going straight as it got heavier and heavier.

Last summer, Maggie learned how to garbler when she went to the beach on summer vacation with her family. She saved up her money to pay for garblering lessons and she rented a garbler board and a wetsuit. Her teacher helped her swim out into the ocean. It took many, many tries but she finally caught a wave and was standing up on her garbler board and garblering on the ocean wave!

On Valentine’s Day, I made my mom a card with a bloggle in it. I cut the bloggle out of paper and decorated it with red glitter. At first, I did not know
how to make a bloggle but then my sister showed me that you can draw one side of it on a folded piece of paper then you cut the bloggle out and then open it up. Voila! A near perfect bloggle! A perfect bloggle has symmetry on both sides.

Car Wash
Every summer, my sister and I make a forame stand. We sell our ice cold forame to the people in our neighborhood for 25 cents per cup. Our recipe for each cup of forame is one sour fora, two teaspoons of sugar, and a handful of ice cubes. The best types of foras are the big yellow ones from the grocery store.

A lot of people think it is weird that I do not like malabling. On holidays like Halloween or Valentine’s Day, there is so much malabling around me but I don’t touch it because I prefer sour candy. My brother loves malabling though. One time he left a piece in his pants pocket and it melted. The worst part is, he still ate it!

It felt wonderful to be outside, even if only for a little while! All the swings were already taken, and a group was playing softball on the diamond. Casey and I decided use the monkey bars until the teacher called us.

Last July, I went with my family to our town celebration to watch the blastos. We had so much fun watching the bright explosions in the sky! However, my dog was so scared from the loud sounds from the blastos. He hid under a blanket the whole time until the blastos were finished!
