What is a summary essay?
a shorter piece of writing that is concise yet thorough where all the main points in a piece of writing are explained in a much shorter way.

There is an increase in consumer goods and services sectors thanks to consumerism.
What do you do when you brainstorm your ideas?
When you brainstorm, you write down all your ideas that are related to the topic.
What is a refutation?
A refutation is the explanation of why your argument is better in some way than an opposite argument/a counterargument.
What is a comparison and contrast essay?
A compare and contrast essay examines two or more topics (objects, people, or ideas, for example), comparing their similarities and contrasting their differences.
What does "synthesize" mean?
It means bringing together ideas from different sources and showing the link between them.

You put your ideas into sentences and paragraphs.

You should include a hook, background information, and a thesis statement.
What is a cause and effect essay?
A cause-effect essay tells how one event (the cause) leads to another event (the effect).
