This assignment is comprised of two parts: writing about one of five possible essays and that author's group membership, and then writing about your own group membership
What is the initial paper?
This assignment is paramount to the small group experience; all group members must participate equally and have a chance to submit a draft for initial feedback before submitting a final.
What is the group plan?
These experiences have two purposes: to facilitate your understanding of the use of groups in social work with populations-at-risk (Task function) and (2) to illustrate the major group concepts and processes as well as to help you develop basic skills for group leadership (Process function).
