The area where you will stay while waiting to get picked up if you are displaying Covid like symptoms

What is the Isolation area

A device that needs to be powered down at 8am and may not be activated or powered on during the instructional day.  If so, this device will be confiscated and returned to a guardian.

What is a cell phone?

A location on campus where you will meet with Ms. Vogel or Ms Nadia.  This place is where you will be sent for first aid or to call home.  Please make sure you are sent by a teacher....and do not enter without permission.

What is the office?

A table in the lunch area where students can eat free of any peanuts nearby.

Including students to play in games during recess and being fair.

What is being respectful?

A piece of fabric or cloth placed over your mouth and nose at all times when you are indoors.

Items that must be affixed/fastened to the feet.  

What are shoes?

A location where you have a very specific task and should not be hanging out in.  After this task, you are to flush, wash your hands and immediately leave. These rooms are located by the dance studio.

What are the bathrooms?

Tables in front of Miss Libby's classroom for the 6th graders and tables between Mr. Cohen's class and the PE shed for the 7th & 8th graders for students to eat snack during recess.  These are the only places to eat food during recess.....not while walking around or playing.

Walking up and down the ramps to the portable classrooms and not climbing under/over the railing.  

What is being safe?

Maintaining a certain amount of feet away from others to ensure the minimal amount of germ transfer.

A policy that says undergarments (underwear) must be covered, clothing must cover chest, torso and that any displays on clothing must be appropriate on school campus.

An area you are to walk your bikes, scooters and skateboards safely.  You make sure to play fairly and use kind words here and try to include everyone.

Things that are meant to be eaten.  These things are not meant to be thrown at our friends or on the ground during lunch/snack.  These items should also be healthy and help you sustain energy for your whole day.

Doing homework and turning it in on time.  Being prepared for class each day.  Bringing your chrome book fully charged with a charger and headphones each day to school.

What is being responsible?

A grass covered area that you can kick balls and play on.  You also use equipment appropriately and school designated here.

A refreshing liquid meant to be in a labeled bottle with your name.  If you are in the classroom - you will take a mask break outside to enjoy this refreshing liquid  You can also find this liquid in many of the classrooms to put in your marked bottle.

Walking in the hallways and using low voices when traveling to classes.

Staying at home while you are recovering from an illness or Covid symptoms or awaiting results from a Covid test.

A policy that states homework will not be accepted more than 2 weeks past the due date.

The ONLY gate middle schoolers should arrive in or be picked up at.  During pick up, one gate is for students walking home and the other gate is for students being picked up.

Leaving pieces of garbage or trash on the ground or tables instead of putting in the trash or recycling cans.

Being kind to students and staff.  Choosing to be silent if you feel like saying something mean.  Befriending new students and being a positive role model for our younger students.
