What do you do when you want to talk in class?
Raise your hand quietly until you are called on
What do you do when you first come in every day?
Come in and put mail on my desk, hang up your back pack in your locker, eat breakfast, then work on morning work.
Where do you line up when it's time to go inside?
In front of the school doors
If you packed, what do you do when it's lunch time?
Grab your lunch, sit at your desk, and wait in the classroom
When can you talk in the hallway?
Only if there is an emergency. Always level 0
What does work time sound like?
Level 1, partner work voice, whisper or small voice
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
What do you do when you hear the teacher say it's time to go?
You clean up quickly then run to your line.
If you bought a lunch, what do you do?
Line up when called and walk down with our aid.
Can you get up during lunch time?
No, please stay in your seat.
What does station time sound like?
Level 2, still a small voice but not a whisper
When can I use the bathroom?
During work time or center time. Not during lesson time. You still need to tell the teacher before you go.
Where is zone 3?
Track. Get those laps in to earn a prize!
What can you do when you are eating lunch?
Watch the show or quietly talk to someone near you.
When can you color?
When can you sharpen a pencil?
Only during work time or station time. NOT when I am teaching.
How do we line up to leave the room?
Wait until you are called, walk to the back of the line without talking.
Where should you be if you are in zone 1?
Playground and pavilion
What can you do when you are done?
Clean up your desk, throw away your trash and watch the show or talk quietly.
When can you play with a math activity?
When you finish an assignment early or have free time.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and safe bodies
What are the bathroom procedures?
Grab your name tag, hang it on the hook outside of the bathroom, no more than 2 minutes, and head back.
Where is zone 2?
Field and basketball court
Where do you throw your trash away?
In the trash can OUTSIDE the room. NOT the class trash.
What do you do if you have a question but Mrs. Skiles in working with a small group?
You ask a friend first, then you can quietly wait on the side of the desk until the teacher can talk to you.
