What is Temporary or Part time Subsidy?
Ivana Mohamed and Heather Dery receives all of the required paperwork for the child; then creates and organizes the child's/family files; places the health forms and face sheets for each section (i.e. contact log, education, Information sheets, etc); completes the child's health history and nutrition assessment with the parent before the child's starts in the program. And enters it all into CAP60.

Enrolled families receive income-based childcare subsidies to help offset the high-cost of childcare. Families will still be responsible for a portion of the cost (called the family share) which is determined by your family’s income. This program is designed to aid, assist, facilitate, and simplify the subsidy application process for working families. It is able to serve working families with incomes higher than the Department of Social Services income eligibility level.

NYS determines provider payment levels and have choices under federal laws and regulations to pay providers through voucher/certificates issued to parents to find a program that will accept them for payment. By comparison, federal EHS and Partnerships grantees negotiate for 5-year grants for a certain number of funded slots for EHS eligible children and agree to fill any vacant slot within 30 days.
