Before and after a lesson, NOT during a lesson!

How should you walk in a line?
Quietly, hands to ourselves, behind the person in front of them.
What does working in a group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work done.
How do you ask for help in the class?
Raise your hand at a LEVEL 0 and wait for Ms. C to either call you over or for her to walk to you.
What are the four hand signals that we need to use? (bathroom, water, sharpen pencil, and attention getting)

What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting others in other groups.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking or touching anything.
How should we be doing on the way back to class after lunch?
Walking in a line, hands to ourselves, no talking and keeping up with the line

Being respectful, listening, be kind, etc.

What do you do when you need to go to the nurse?
What is the procedure for using the bathroom?
hand signal, sign out and sign in, leave pencil there, go the nearest bathroom, one at a time, come back in quietly.

stop talking, eyes on Ms. C, and pencils down!

January 31st!
What do you do when you bring your red folder back to school?
Turn in your assignment that is due and put your red folder in the black bin.
What do you do when you get to class?
walk in quietly, hang up backpack and get all your belongings that you need out, unstack chairs, wash your hands, grab laptop, bellwork journal, and get started on bellwork
How can we have a better quarter compared to the first quarter?
Answers vary.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, not talking back/giving attitude, using appropriate language and gestures, and not calling them mean names (bullying)
What should you do if you see someone being a bully?
Tell an adult, help out the students that is being bullied
