Wiliam Paterson of New Jersey created a plan that had a one house congress
What is the New Jersey Plan?
They describe the way government is set up.
What is the articles?
Strong, but not too strong government
What is Limited Government?
Powers reserved for the states
What is Reserve Powers?
Law that made a plan to survey and sell Western lands
What is the Ordinance of 1785?
Compromise that made slaves count as 3/5 of an unenslaved person
What is the 3/5 compromise?
There are 27 of them currently in the constitution. They are meant to make changes to the constituiton

Balancing and evening out the branches of government
