There are five main steps to the scientific method. The first step is observing phenomenon where all you do is simply make an observation. The second step is formulating hypotheses and predictions where you can develop a theory that can be tested. The third step is testing through empirical research where you can collect data and be able to analyze it. The forth step is drawing conclusion where you can come to a conclusion based on your research. The fifth step is evaluating conclusion where all of your work can go under review.
Pick two brain sections and describe their purpose and what tasks they help you accomplish in everyday life?
There are many different and unique sections to the brain that help us in our everyday life. The frontal lobe lets us know what is right from wrong and determines similarities and differences. The frontal lobe is able to help us accomplish tasks by making decisions. The parietal lobe is used for integrating sensory information. The parietal lobe is able to help us by reacting to senses. Without these brain sections we would not be able to complete these tasks.
Describe and give 2 examples of unconscious bias (aka implicit bias). Do you think its fair to connect unconscious bias to terms such as prejudice, discrimination, and racism?
Unconscious bias is biases that we have that are not in conscious control. An example of unconscious bias is preferring more beautiful people over less attractive people. Another example of unconscious bias is gender as one may prefer one gender over the other. There is no doubt that we make unconscious bias decisions everyday. Unconscious bias could be connected to prejudice, discrimination, and racism is the person making these decisions are unaware. However, if they are aware about making these decisions then it can't be connected to unconscious bias.

Social media is a place that can be accessed by millions of people in a matter of seconds. Although social media can be a way to connect to a lot of people it also has its negatives. All over social media there are false advertisers that try to trick people into buying something when in reality they are buying something else. The way social media works is that it puts you in groups with other people that share similar opinions and this can lead to making you think that you are in the right however you are wrong. Social media can also drag you away from your daily life by distracting you. All these problems can affect teenagers worldwide by making them forget who they truly are.
