Croken House was GPWRA's first shelter that opened on June 9, 1980 with ten beds and four staff members.
Who can access community support?
Anyone fleeing domestic violence and are living in the community, if they are needing court support/legal support help navigating the legal system. Help navigating the justice system, safety planning, Danger assessment. Referrals to other supports in the community to help them achieve a level of safety before or after they have fled their DV relationship.
