In 2019, the U.S. Mint issued the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Quarter, a wilderness through which both the Middle Fork Salmon WSR (104 miles designated in 1968) and Main Salmon WSR (125 miles designated in 1980) flow. 

Previously in 2010, the U.S. Mint issued the Yosemite National Park Quarter, depicting El Capitan and the Merced WSR (122.5 total miles designated in 1987 and 1992).
