Carbon Monoxide is an odorless, tasteless gas. It is caused from the burning of fuels, like from a car. Carbon Monoxide is very poisonous and deadly to humans.

Frostbite decreases the temperature in certain areas of the body. Hypothermia decreases the temperature of the entire body.

The leader should send another cadet to the airmen and rush them over to the tent. Immediately providing them water and shade (Possibly Air Conditioning Inside). Next the leader would look over the airmen’s safety forms, looking over anything that may cause the airmen to flare up. If so, providing any medication that is listed under medications.

A cadet is coming home from a CAP Event. While driving on the highway, he gets stuck in a blizzard. What should the cadet do?

​Park his car on the side of the highway, turn off the car to reduce fuel intake, avoid going outside, and wrap himself with any blankets and clothing he found in the car.​

A cadet Airman 1st class is volunteering at MI Military and Veterans Gala (early November) and has been doing parking duty the entire evening. The temperature starts at 55 degrees Fahrenheit and is gradually decreasing overtime, with 10 mph winds. The sun has already set. You as the Cadet Airman is told to lead a flight in basic drill. You teach the new cadets everything you know, and flight performs with minor mistakes. You are then told by your superior leaders to become the squadron's drill cadet. The next week, while doing drill, the flight performs with many errors, and they blame it on you. How would you respond? Should you give up this opportunity?

Ex: We all have our bad days, but when one teammate fails, the entire team fails. This does not mean we can ignore our Core Values of Respect and Excellence. We are all at fault for our own performance and by others, because we are team. You should not give up this opportunity to lead. This is once in a lifetime opportunity, that should not be wasted. Taking this opportunity shows that you represent the Core Values of Integrity and Volunteer Service.
