How did geography affect the economy of the Middle Colonies?

There was lots of fertile land and  natural resources to grow wheat, corn, and rye. The pigs and cows had space to roam and eat.  The middle colonies were also located near the river which made trading goods easier to move from one town to the next.

How did life in the Middle Colonies compare to life in New England? 

Life in the Middle Colonies were provided more opportunities for women, children, and enslaved people.  People are were more accepting of others' beliefs, culture, and religion practices. 

Middle Colonies didn't believe in slaves (p 237 paragraph 2)whereas New England colonies captured people to become slaves but later some colonist tried to stop it due to the cruelty and suffering. page 216 paragraph 3,4.
