- Formative assessment: ongoing assessment (activities/ worksheets)
- Summative assessment: term tests/ exams
- Reflection: end of an activity/ term

reflective writing is done by learners. It shows:
1- where learners are in terms of what they are learning (current objectives)
2- where they should be (set goals)
3- a plan on how to improve and reach the goals in question
4- follow up on achieving their goals/ targets and showing growth
