Where is it common for people to eat frog legs?

This one is a little more familiar than the rest and has been a staple of French cuisine for some time. Available at almost every cafe, bistro and restaurant in France, the dish is actually quite tasty, but that could be because of the sauce it’s served in rather than any attest to how tasty frogs are. Frogs are not an appetizing looking animal for sure, but to each their own!

Where is it common for people to eat tuna eyes?

Despite tuna being a pretty ubiquitous fish all around the world, the eating of this specific part of the tuna is confined to China and Japan where they are considered very tasty. They look pretty gross, there’s no doubt and I can’t imagine what it feels like if you were to make eye contact with them before eating, but people who eat them swear by them and have said that they taste like cherry tomatoes but with a bit of extra crunch.

Where is it common for people to eat gorilla meat?

So apparently destroying their habitats isn’t enough for people, they eat them too. Found in many African nations, especially those along the equator, gorillas can be found in many meat markets and even restaurants. They are not the only species of primates eaten in those areas either, where other monkeys and apes like chimpanzees and bonobos are also consumed. This one may be a bit weirder than the rest because they resemble humans so much, so it’s almost like it’s cannibalism.
