The front of the stage closest to the audience.

Another actor is standing in front of them, blocking them from view.

They go off stage immediatley.

The back of the stage, farther from the audience.

They are practicing their movements and positions.

A picture on a canvas frame usually painted as a backdrop.

To change the setting for another scene.
