This principle refers to the act of drawing your eye to a specific part of an artwork, or focal point. Can be done effectively with lines, and bright colors.

Artwork that has some representational imagery (things you recognize) is referred to as this type of art.
What is Semi-Abstract?
Orange, green, and purple belong to this color group.
What are the secondary colors?
This element of art is three dimensional.
What is a form?
This principle refers to how a viewer's eye is lead throughout an artwork. Can be done effectively with lines.
What is movement?
This style of abstract painting used expressive body movements, and features random and unexpected outcomes.
What is Abstract Expressionism?
This color scheme of two colors look nice next to each other because they contrast, but when you blend them they create neutral colors because they are on opposite sides of the color wheel.
What are complementary colors?
This element of art refers to either: creating depth, or can refer to the presence or absence of elements in an artwork.
What is Space?
This principle refers to a difference between two elements in the same artwork, such as light and dark value.
What is contrast?
This term refers to how the Elements of Art are arranged in an artwork.
What is Composition?
Three colors which are next to each other on the color wheel and can all blend together belong to this color scheme.
What is an analogous color scheme?
This element of art refers to how something feels or looks like it feels.
What is texture?
Your using this principle if all (or most) of the elements in your artwork share similarities. Ex: similar line types, similar colors etc.
What is Unity?
These two artists were abstract expressionist painters we talked about. One was a founding member of Spiral a group of African American artists working out of Harlem. Either artist is acceptable.
Who are Norman Lewis or Jackson Pollock?
