What is Automation Express?

Automation Express is a new, Cloud-only, type of developer license which grants access to customized versions of StudioX, Studio Web, Attended Robot, and Integration Service. It is a free license, meant to enable customers to expose new potential users to developing automations, starting with automating their own repetitive tasks.

What are three things that would indicate your customer is looking at automation as a "project" and not a "program"

- Often siloed to a single business unit
- Solving a specific problem (ex: invoice processing)
- Professional services = statement of work
- No executive exposure
- No concrete plans to scale
- No FTE dedicated to RPA
- Champion is Director or below
- Digital briefcase is “too much”
- Single year deployment/contract

How do you differentiate Task Mining vs Process Mining when positioning to a customer?

Process Mining - Discover the variability, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks of a SINGLE PROCESS. Data is collected by connecting to a system of record (SAP, Netsuite, Salesforce) and ingesting & sorting its logs.

GOAL of Process Mining is driving efficiency into a single process. This could be automation, but often is just general process improvement.

Task Mining - Discover the various manual tasks that individuals are completing on their desktops. Data is collected by monitoring their clicks, keystrokes, and screenshots of the apps they are accessing.

GOAL of Task Mining is finding repetitive tasks that we can automate.

30

What is the MAIN limitation of Cross-Platform Automations (the type of automation built in Studio Web)?

UiAutomation can ONLY be done in a Chrome web browser. No desktop app automation.

How does Re:Infer help us extend our automation capabilities?

Classify and Extract data from messages, such as custom entities (addresses, policy numbers, etc.) and intent labels to pass to UiPath for downstream processing.

Example Use Case - IT Service Automation
- Automatic PW resets, responsing to FAQ's, automatic case creation from email, automatic email routing to appropriate party

Additionally, Re:Infer may be used for ANALYTICS purposes - understanding the types of messages that are received, their respective quantities, etc. so that we can ultimately uncover how to optimize/automate processes.

What are two key elements of a roll-out plan?
