Researchers have been studying these birds from a distance due to its bizarre shoe-shaped beak attached to its face, which is used as a weapon int he wild. At full strength, they can reach up to 5 feet tall allowing them to hunt down on animals in the water. They typically fall headfirst into their prey, decapitating them with its big beak.
