What is Point of View an what are the different POV's?

The narrator's POV, or perspective, determines the way the reader sees settings, characters, and events. First-person narrator gives personal eyewitness account and uses the first-person pronouns (I, me). Third-person narrator stands outside the story and uses third-person pronouns (They, he, she). Second-person POV places the reader in the story and uses second-person pronoun (you).
