A. The Civil Service Exam impacted more of the middle class than the upper class as it allowed those who weren't born into power a chance to obtain that power.

C. The reason for the Civil Service Exam's use was to remove the idea of hereditary birth into power types of governments and other higher-end jobs.

E. The reason to get rid of the hereditary function of government was to give everyone in the country an opportunity to see if they qualified better for a higher position than somebody who was born into it. Making it where the more talented and capable person gets a job rather than being born into it.

List and describe two key factors that led the Mongols to claim land from Poland to the far east coast of China

A: Two key factors for the Mongols to expand from Poladn to the east coast of China are the trade opportunities expanded from the coast and military strategies on horse.

C: The Mongols are more uniform and use horses and bows and arrows while attacking people, and other tribes used more wild attacks and no real strategy.

E: The Mongols developed a new wave of attack strategy and everybody else were accustomed to just going head first into battle and hoping the outcome would be a victory, which is why the Mongols were able to dominate and expand quickly and efficiently.

List and define the three "motivating factors" for exploration during the 15th century

A: The three "motivating factors" for exploration during the 15th century are Gold, Gold, and Glory. God is a motive since religion was huge on the economy, gold since precious metals and anything valuable were used to trade and boost the economy, and glory because it helped increase your reputation and gives respect to yourself nad the country you represent while exploring.

C: The three G's were important because they all had to due with the respect and representation of yourself as an explorer and the country similar to Akbar and how he represented the Mughal empire and was respected for his religiously tolerant system of rule and his ability to take over the empire without any real issues.

E: Akbar was incredibly capable of being the new ruler and gained respect for being able to rule an empire with ease and efficiency which cannot be said about most rulers back then. Akbar being able to gain enough wealth and respect and be religiously tolerant he was almost too perfect to be a rule considering the many lesser options they had in that time period.

A: An indentured servant is usually poor and signs a seven year contract to work for someone, they do get paid to work but not a lot of money, and they are given the bare necessity like food and clothes and equipment to work.

C: Indentured servants are similar to slaves but instead of working for free and being treated with a little bit more respect than a slave.

E: Slaves were a cruel and awful thing that expanded across the world as a use of labor without the acknowledgment of basic human rights. The slaves were treated cruelly throughout the entire process of being bought, shipped, and worked like a piece of trash or cattle instead of a human being.

What is the “ Cult of Domesticity” and how did it impact the thoughts of Mary Wollstonecraft

A: The Cult of Domesticity is the basic ideology of the proper role for women back in the 1800s and was apart of the "first wave of feminism."

C: The idea of separating a group from the usual stereotypes of what they are seen as like women not needing an education and only staying home and cooking while the husband is out working, is similar to the Gloucester County Rebellion in 1663 as it was the first slave revolt in the British American colonies.

E: The Gloucester County Rebellion was a revolt the started when the African slaves and White indentured servants forged an alliance and agreed on a rebellion despite their race and the oppression whites had against the Africans during the entire slave trade process. When it came to freedom and a goal that benefitted both parties they put aside their differences, like how one race enslaved the other, and were able to demand each others freedom.
