The FoN currently has 8 of these individuals. Yinfei Duan is one and started working with the Translating Research in Elder Care (TREC) program after completing their PhD in nursing at the University of Minnesota in 2020.

When I was about 12 years old I broke my front tooth playing in the dark with my cousins. I now have 4 veneers on my top front teeth.

The purpose of these is to develop research capacity in a focused area of cutting-edge research. The current areas are: migration and health, informatics, and healthy equity.

This event is a 1 hour seminar series held weekly over 5 weeks in the Summer. The event raises students' awareness of and interest in research through a variety of speakers and opportunities to network, learn research skills, and participate in FoN Research Rounds where they will present on their experience in the Fall.
