This stage displays when a workflow has been set to initial.
Start Stage
This stage contains actions such as document lock, check compliance, mark for submission, document error check.
Process Stage
Don't be sad, dude, or a symbol reflecting a routing stage assigned to an author (or individual).
Single Blue Man
Use this button to create a Start and Stop stage in your workflow.
Add Workflow
This stage is identified by a large red dot on a white background.
Stop Stage
This stage allows a supervisor, or whomever is set at the stage, to assign the document to an individual or group.
You can hit the accelerator or begin your workflow path with this symbol.
Green Light/Dot
This item is required anytime workflow is routed to the supervisor of a group.
Organizational Chart
This stage automatically sends a document to an author, supervisor, person, or organizational unit.
Routing Stage
This displays when any routing or assignment stage has been added to the workflow and has not yet been defined.
Undefined Assignment Type
This is the name of a colorful band blending music, comedy, and technology or a routing stage icon.
Blue Man Group
This item identifies the GUID, DM, & Description of the Module the workflow will be tied to.
Document
This stage requires a decision to be made by a person.
Manual OR
This stage allows the user to remove a document from the workflow and send it down a path that contains only process stages.
Terminate from Start Type
Don't get confused when you see this character in your workflow.

This option allows you to place additional restrictions on a document.
Configure Security
This stage requires a decision to be made for routing to occur. The decision comes from the workflow rules that are configured behind the scenes.
Automatic OR
This stage allows the user to remove a document from the assigned workflow path and send it down a completely manual workflow path.

This shape can be seen in a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal or in a workflow with an Automatic OR.
