What are cool colors?
The furthest part away in a landscape, or the area behind everything in an artwork.
What is the Background?
Artwork that has different pieces glued together.
What is collage?
A shape or artwork that is exactly the same on one side as the otherside, almost like a reflection or if its flipped over a line. (example= Butterfly)
What is symmetry?
Shapes that are irregular or found in nature. (leaves, blobs, splashes, flowers)
What is organic?
Red, Yellow, Orange
What are warm colors?
The area in the middle of a landscape.
What is the middleground?
Art that is 3D and is often carved or molded.
What is sculpture?
A line that could draw mountains, shark teeth, or the spikes around the sun.
What is zig zag?
Shapes that are regular or mathematical, such as squares triangles and circles.
What is geometric?
a color that is made by mixing a primary color and a secondary color (e.g. yellow-green, red-orange, blue-green)
What are tertiary colors?
The area where the sky meets the ground.
What is the horizon line?
Art that has a purpose or can be used for something, not just decoration.
What is utilitarian art?
Artwork that gives each object an equal amount of importance, or spaces objects out evenly.
