A four year education program where a person can earn their bachelors degree or higher.

Being in control of your own life and taking action to achieve your goals.

A personal measure of worth towards and ideas or belief.

What is community college?
A 2 year education program where a person can earn an associates degree.
What is does disclosure mean?
To reveal new information (personal) to another person.
What does SMART goal stand for?
Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely.
How should you dress for an interview
Business casual: nice top, bottoms and shoes.
Where can one look for a job?
Online or in person. Ask a friend!
What is a trade school?
A school where a person learns a specific trade or job that can be done in about a year to receive a certificate or license in that field.
What is an accommodation?
A support that is put in place to help a person be able to do their job duties in a way that is efficient.
Can someone ask how much they will be paid in an interview? If so, when?
Yes! At the end of an interview.
Who is an example of a reference?
Anyone within your professional network that can say good things about your job performance. No family!
What is an apprenticeship?
A paid work experience where a person receives both in classroom and on the job training.
Do you have to disclose your disability to your employer?
No!! One should disclose their disability if their job performance might be impacted.
What is a cover letter?
A brief one page paper that goes into detail about who you are and your goals.
Is post-secondary education free?
No! Every program costs something!
