As long as the responsible household member such as a parent or caregiver accesses the benefits on behalf of the eligible child, co-parents, and caregivers are authorized to use the child’s P-EBT card.

Will my child receive any more benefits after the $120 that was given to him in July 2023?
No, the $391 benefits were the last amount & those benefits were for the Summer PEBT benefits.
A child who is age 5 currently activated on his mother's EBT since July 2023. Does he qualify for PEBT?
No, because the deadline was May 12, 2023, to be activated for regular EBT and to receive PEB-T.

No. P-EBT is available only to children enrolled in and receiving education services in a school and would normally receive free or reduced-price school meals through the NSLP or SBP, if the school wasn’t closed or had reduced attendance

Yes, as long as the student attended school with no interruptions, and received the free or priced reduced meals they qualify.
Does a child under 6 need to be enrolled into a lunch program to qualify for pebt benefits?
Children under age 6 don’t need to participate in free or reduced-price school meals nor do they need to be enrolled in a school or a child care center to qualify for P-EBT.

If you lost the caller/call dropped do you need to make a contact log for that case?
Yes, a contact log needs to be created anytime you state the opening script. Even if it's just "Thank you for calling"
What do I need to do when the new P-EBT card arrives in the mail?
There is a number on the back of the card. Call that number to set up your 4 digit pin & the card will be activated immediately
The caller is missing benefits from August 2022 (P-EBT 3.0). The child was enrolled in free/price lunches & also completed the 2021- 2022 school year. What would you do?
