Dress Code
This is the standard uniform for 6th Grade.
What are yellow polo shirts and navy blue pants?
If a student is tardy, they need to go to do this before reporting to their class.
What is go to the office and get a pass?
Students can find work they missed in this.
What is the absentee folder?
Talking during a quiz or test will result in a deduction of this amount.
What is 10%?
Cardigans may one of these two colors.

Resource takes place during these times daily.
What is one time per class?
The student will have this many school days after returning from an absence to submit any make-up work.
What is 3 school days?
According to the Middle School Discipline Plan, these actions will be taken after the 3rd offense.
What are Referrals to guidance Counselor or Social Worker and a Phone Call Home?
Scholars may wear shoes that are mostly these three colors.
What are black, white and/or brown?
Arts Majors takes place during this block.
What is the Resource Block?
This will be used as a hall pass for all middle school scholars who wish to leave class.
What is the agenda book?
If the student was absent when a project or homework assignment was due, they must turn it in on this day.
What is the day they return to school?
Town Hall Meetings will be held on these days every month.
What are half day Wednesdays?
Earrings should be no larger than the size of this type of coin.
What is a quarter?
Lunch is at this time every day.
What is 12:40-1:10 PM?
Only this number of students may leave class at one time.
What is one student at a time?
The student is responsible for asking the teacher or a peer for any of these that they missed while they were absent.
What are notes?
Each middle school class will be allowed this number of representatives in the SGA.
What is 1 representative?
The dance uniform consists of these items of clothing.
What are hunter green sweat pants or shorts and an Empowerment Academy T-shirt or white shirt?
Advisory lessons will occur once a week on this day and at this time.
What is Mondays from 7:45-8:15 AM?
Students will be allowed to go to their lockers during transition except between these two periods.
What are 2nd and 3rd periods?
If a student is absent during a test or quiz, they will have this many weeks after the original test/quiz date to make it up before it remains a zero.
What is two weeks?
This is the only type of head covering scholars may wear to school.
