When walking into a classroom, the first thing you should do is
ask how many children there are
When a kid is moving from one room to another, this needs to be filled out

Bus inspections are completed this often
Weekly
Nothing except the food should be on the table during this time
Meal time
This is completed after a child is injured or an incident occurs

When a child arrives or departs, this goes on the attendance sheet
Time
This should be done during each transition of the day to make sure you have all the children in your group
Procare name to face count
When you get on the bus, this is how you know you have all of your kids
Name to face roll call
Each age group has a different size of these to make sure the children are getting the proper amount of fluid milk
Cups
Doing this after meals, prevents ants from taking over your room
Sweeping
When working with children in toddler and preschool, you are to do this every 2 hours
Change diapers/bathroom break
When discussing other children, it's important to maintain this to protect sensitive or private information from unauthorized persons
Confidentiality
The bus is not allowed to be driven until the kids and driver is wearing these
Seat belts
A paper towel or napkin is a what between the table and the child's meal
Barrier
Teachers model healthy eating habits by not eating fast food or drinking sugary drinks in the classroom because of this program
Ohio Healthy
In all classrooms, this is limited to give children time to play, engage in activities, and socialize with their friends. It's never used during meals.
Screen time
This tells us what to do in case of an emergency
Disaster plan
When the bus loads and unloads, the bus should be this way
Curbside
Before and after meals, the tables are cleaned with these
Soap/water bottle and bleach
Hosted once a month to promote family involvement
Family night
Children and teachers should do this when entering the center, before eating food, when returning from physical play, after toileting/diaper changes, after using chemicals, and as needed
Handwashing
When organizing your classroom, it's important to break the room down into these to keep the children spaced out and in smaller groups
Centers
Every bus should have this in case of an emergency
First aid kit
During meal time, sitting with the kids and talking is a way to do this
Build relationships
Many of these are used to determine if the child has any developmental delays
