A number, a variable or the product of a number and one or more variable with whole number exponents.
Monomial= 1 term
for example 4x^4 7v^3c^4

What is standard form?
Standard form is where an equation is written so that the exponents of a variable decrease from left to right.
(4-7v^3-3v-7v^2)+(3v^4+7v^2+6v^3+1)

What is a degree of a monomial?
A degree is the highest exponent, sum of the exponents of the variables in a monomial
(4m^2-m+2)+(-3m^2+10m+7)
1m^2+9m+9
(2x - 3x) - (x2 -2x + 4)
-x2 + x - 4
(x + 2) (x - 3)
x2 - x - 6
What are the polynomial names?
