The college of nursing is looking to expand on the MMC Campus. One suggestion was to replace the University Towers since only 7% of students live on campus. Is this design desirable? Feasible? Viable?

Not desirable because there are 5 academic health buildings in place already. Not feasible as it would be an expense with no urgency or necessity behind it. Not viable because it would displace students already living in the towers.

Compared to the Fall and Spring semesters, the Summer semester sees the lowest enrollment rate at FIU. Because of this, many shops, restaurants, and buildings close earlier or do not open at all during the Summer semesters. This, however, affects campus life for students enrolled during the Summer semester. Would operating at regular business hours all over campus be a desirable design? Feasible? Viable?

Desirable for students enrolled in the Summer semesters. Not feasible because the university is making less money through tuition and on campus businesses during the summer and therefore also not viable.

A whopping 93% of students commute to FIU for their classes. Because of this, parking availability is a hot topic among students for the university to review and consider. Would building a new parking garage be desirable? Feasible? Viable?

IDS3073 is one of the core required classes for the Liberal Arts major. Even after you review your syllabus, you may find yourself filled with questions about this class, its objectives, and how it runs. With this ambiguity in mind, is this class design desirable? Feasible? Viable?

Despite what you may think, this class IS desirable, especially in retrospect. Feasible because it is a paid course offered by the university and viable because it is a core requirement, meaning you’ll wind up taking it regardless. Take notes, get to know your group members, and have fun. What you gain from this class you will take with you into the workforce, or wherever your future past academics takes you.
