How long does it take for a active Home Equity to close?

Home equity accounts will close within five business days after the request is submitted. If the borrower is requesting to close the account, they must complete a signed request to process the closure of the Real Estate secured line of credit. PNC only requires one borrower to sign a written request to close a real estate secured line of credit.

Can clients go into the branch to get HELOC checks?

No, 

• Transferring funds in Online Banking to an active PNC checking account. 
• Using a pre-printed line of credit check. All clients receive these checks after account origination (excluding Texas accounts) and can be reordered for free throughout the draw period.
  • Clients can reorder checks via:
    • Online Banking
    • Visiting a branch
    • By phone at 1-888-762-2265
• Using their Choice Access Card for any point-of-sale transactions (excluding Texas accounts)
