Anterior
Nearest to or at the front of the body
Oblique plane
Passes through the body at an oblique angle (any angle other than 90ยบ)

Between two structures
Superficial
Toward or on the surface of the body
Parasagittal Plane
Sagittal plane that does not pass through the midline but instead divides the body or organ into unequal.
Posterior
Nearer to or at the back of the body
Ipsilateral
On the same side of the body as another structure
Deep
Away from the surface of the body
