Trick-or-Treat
You go to a house and they have no more candy, what do you do?
- understand that they ran out and move on to the next house
-be upset but you don't let it ruin your night.
Lane went trick-or-treating last year. When he knocked on his neighbor's door, the lady brought out a big basket of candy. The lady said, "Here, you can pick out 5 pieces of candy!"

- Wow! I get so much candy!
-I can't wait to pick them out!

Edwin asked Elias to share his candy but Elias said no because he wanted to eat it all by himself.
-What should Edwin do?
- Edwin should understand that Elias doesn't have to share his candy if he doesn't want to.
Every house Bryan has gone to has ran out of candy before he had a chance to get any.

-keep going to different house in hopes of getting candy
-understand that as you get older your bucket or bag doesn't have to be completely full.

-don't get upset, and tell them what you are
- you are a little hurt by this, but explain to them anyway
Brianna is working on her pumpkin with her mom. When her friend sees it, she says, "that is a great design! Your pumpkin is going to look great!"

Nolan saw Lane take a piece of candy out of Isabella's candy bucket.

You worked really hard on your costume, but last minute it started to rain so you weren't able to wear it out.

-get upset, but change into something else

Elias wanted to go trick-or-treating with his brother. However, he wasn't able to because it was too dark and he wouldn't be able to see at night.

- If she liked it, she should wear it. If Ava didn't like her costume and agreed with her friend then she could change into something else.

Eli was trick-or-treating and knocked on his neighbor's door 3 times. He could hear people talking inside so he knocked for a 4th time. Still no one came to the door.

Mrs. Perry was really excited to go trick-or-treating this year. She put on her costume and went door to door. One lady slammed the door in her face and said, "you're too old to be trick-or-treating!"
