When should you raise your hand?
1. To speak or ask a question
2. To leave the classroom for any reason besides the bathroom during the bathroom time.
What should the students do after the bell has rung?
Sit silently and await directions
How do you know if the bathroom is free to use?
The pass will have to be hanging in the front and the light is off.
If the work is not due yet, what do you do with the work?
It should go in the section of your binder that is labeled for my class. I whole punch all your work for a reason.
What is Ms. Russell's favorite thing to do outside of work?
Travel or read
What are the 2 rules about my desk?
1. Do not go behind my desk unless I specifically ask you to.
2. Do not touch anything in or on my desk unless I specifically tell you to.
How should students enter my classroom?
Students should enter calmly and use inside voices.
What should you do if you have a question or comment?
Raise your hand from your seat, please do not approach me at the front of the classroom.
What do you do with work if it is due at the end of class?
Turn it in to your assigned bin, or the specified area by Ms. Russell.

There will be NO phones in my classroom. What are the three procedures if I see a phone?
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Your phone will be placed in a brown paper bag on your desk.
3rd Offense: I will call an administrator to take your phone

On the smartboard or on the back board
When I start the timer for the warm-up what should you do and what happens the last minute of journals?
Be silent and write the whole time. Ms. Russell will be around to sign off on your Journal.

When can you not use the bathroom?
The first and last 10 minutes.
When I am presenting at the front of the classroom or during partner work.
How should your space look before you leave my classroom?
Space should be completely clean (no trash, no pencils, no pens, no papers on the floor or in the desk cubby)
Chair should be pushed in before you leave.

What are the 3 steps students should take when entering my classroom?
Students should put all their things at their desk.
Students should read the smartboard to see what they need and the schedule for the class.
Students should follow the directions on the board and then sit quietly at their seats until Ms. Russell Starts the lesson.
How should your spaces look when moving around the room for transitions?
Spaces should be tidy and clean. Chairs should be pushed in, and student belongings should be in the shelf under the desk.
When should you line up at the door after all work is complete for the day?
NEVER
