What is it called when the RN verifies/checks for order accuracy in transcription; and, when the chart is reviewed that all orders are processed, implemented, or completed if system is down past midnight?
Must wait for Pharmacy to enter medication orders.
When can you enter the medication administrations information?
Enter the name of licensed clinician who administered the medication
Enter the date and time of medication administered during downtime as noted on the paper MAR.
Complete the medication task, as indicated, for medications administered during downtime (including stop times).
Enter comment on medications recovered during downtime “See paper MAR”.

From inside the patients’ medical record:
Click File from the upper right hand corner.
Select the Print From & To dates. Select the data (by checking off) the Sections of the chart you want to print.
IT communicates to appropriate staff via email and/or IT Communications Center regarding dates, times, and anticipated duration.
