"Mount Regis Center offers Suboxone, Sublocade, Vivitrol, and Naltrexone."

"Do any of your facilities have a gym or workout equipment?"

"Yes! Our Hillsville building has a fully equipped gym. And Mount Regis Center has SOME equipment, but one of our weekly outings is a trip to the local YMCA."

"Can either of your facilities' take my HMO of NC?"

"Unfortunately, we cannot accept an HMO outside the state of VA, as it restricts you to the state this insurance is provided through. However, we do have self-pay rates we can discuss. Did you have any friends or family willing to help fund your treatment in our program?"

"What is the average length of stay at your programs?"

"LOS is different for everyone depending on coverage and medical necessity. Recovery and programming are not a once size fits all. However, for LCG the average program length is 60 days, but can go up to 90. For MRC, commercial clients can typically get 30-35 days, while Medicaid clients can get 40-45 days."

"We typically have 4 patients to a room."

"What tools do you offer patients for continued support throughout the recovery journey?"

"Both of our programs offer relapse prevention groups to support chronic relapsers. People who have been to treatment before and are needing that "missing link".

"Can any of your programs accept Medicare?"

"Yes, we can accept certain types of Medicare. LCG can take Medicare when paired with specific Medicaid's or Commerical policies. And MRC can take Medicare part A and B when paired with certain Medicaid's and/or commercial policies. We can go ahead and verify your benefits, if we cannot, I know a great facility WTC that may be able to help!"

"Do your programs have visitation for patients to see their loved ones?"

MRC offer's in-person visitation on Fridays after the loved one, friend, or family member completes a one-day course with our staff, to ensure this is safe and conducive to your recovery. Unfortunately, LCG is not currently offering visitation, but both facilities allow usage of our phones in order to stay in contact and update your families and friends throughout the recovery process."

"We currently have 324 beds and are under construction to add more!"

"What form of insurance is Mount Regis Center able to accept for military or former military patients?"

"Mount Regis Center is able to accept VA Healthcare once a CCN Auth is signed. Make sure you are including Ryan Burnett via email on these cases."

"Can we take this and what does it mean?"

'Med EXP-C'

"Yes, we can take this insurance. MED EXP-C simply means that their Medicaid has not be assigned an MCO yet. Both facilities can take this.

"Do any of your facilities allow vapes?"

"Yes, our facility Life Center of Galax will allow usage of a vape. However, you must come with money upon your admission, and we will purchase this for you. Mount Regis Center does not allow vapes at this time. Both facilities allow cigarettes."

"Can I bring a sentimental item for comfort, such as my blanket?"

"Unfortunately, state laws prohibit personal bedding for the safety and cleanliness of the program. However, you will have constant support from our staff to help you cope through this recovery process without it."

"I am 37 weeks pregnant. Am I still able to admit into your program?"

"Yes! We do not have a cut off for pregnant patients. As long as you have your OBGYN provider sign and review our Prenatal Coordination packet, you may admit. The nearest hospital is right down the road, God forbid, you were to go into labor during your care with us."

"What is a special type for therapy that MRC currently offers patients?"

No horsing around. 

"Our facility is fortunate enough to be able to offer equine therapy to our patients once they have stepped into PHP LOC. This happens 1x a week."

What is standard procedure for a patient looking to admit, but DMAS reports a 'DOC-INPT' policy for LCG? What about for MRC?"

"LCG move forward with your admission to ensure you get help as soon as possible. Our team will help you get this switched over once admitted. For MRC, we would just need a reference number from COVER VA to ensure this would be switching over."

"If I am not able to get my dosing records for Methadone faxed to LCG in time of my admission, what dose will I receive?"

"Our medical staff are only able to dose you at 30mg without records. It is important you dose the day of your admission and get dosing records sent. We can always call over and get these verified, but to ensure your comfortability and safety, let's try to have this done before you arrive."

"What address should I arrive to for my admission?"

"Our address for intake is 160 Training Center Rd, Hillsville, VA 24343."

"After how many days of no use do you need PHP questions answered and sent for review?"

"After 14 days of no use, we require PHP clearance to ensure coverage."

"Are there any adventurous, outside activities offered by your programs?"

"Yes, MRC currently takes patients on outings to a rope course. Life Center of Galax is still planning on future outdoor endeavors for patients."

"In what situations should we be sending a VOB in SF?"

"For Life Center of Galax, we should ALWAYS send a BC to the BO. For Mount Regis Center, only if we are unable to quote the OOP or there is a glaring detail that deters your confidence in quoting."

"I need a pickup from Henrico County Jail. Which days of the week could you guys come get me?"

"Our transportation team makes trips to that jail on Monday's and Thursday's."
