The protagonist is a traditional lecturer who sees a woman at a temple and falls for her. He boards a bus to Kakinada, his hometown, when he hears that his sister's marriage is arranged. He realizes that the woman is his co-passenger.
With the suggestions of his friend, protagonist befriends and then woos the woman. He tries to take a selfie with her when she is sleeping, but the driver applies the brakes at the exact second and Vijay accidentally kisses her. She wakes up, and, feeling violated, calls her brother for help. When she refuses to listen to the man's justifications, he manages to jump out of the bus and escape before the brother could deal with him.

She learns from the P.I. that he is a Tamil Muslim. The investigator is killed in a warehouse by a prominent member of the cell.
A diary on the P.I. gives away the wife's existence, and the terrorist group invades her home and takes the husband and wife hostage.
