Where should you go when you enter the classroom?
Straight to your seat - New Rule: one warning, then detention
Where will all of our notes, projects, practice assignments, and anything from the unit be found?
Notes Packet
What time does this class dismiss?
1st/2nd: 9:15
3rd/4th: 10:50
5th/6th: 12:25
7th/8th: 3:00
When can you use your phone?
NEVER - I was lenient the end of last semester - I will take it if it is out, starting TODAY (Again, please don't make me be the phone police)
Before asking me what we are doing everyday, where can you look?
Agenda on the Smartboard
What happens if you lose your notes packet and I have to print another one for you?
1 warning for the semester - then detention every time after that
Should you pack up your stuff and line up at the door the last 5 minutes of class?
No - I will tell you when to pack up and then you should stay in your seats until the bell
Can you have food and drinks in here?
Yes - as long as you don't spill and clean up your mess.
If I start having to pick up your trash, I will not let you bring food anymore.
Once you have your chromebook and are in your assigned seat, what should you do next?
Start on bellwork in your bellwork journal
What should you NOT be doing when I am up at the front talking?
Talking to each other, playing on the chromebook, get up from your seat, throwing things across the room, anything else that will make me mad
Will I ever hold you after the bell?
No - I will always give you time to clean up and get ready to go so you can leave when the bell rings
Where can you find your make-up work?
Milk crate in the front corner of the room - If there is nothing in there for you, ask me (I probably just forgot to put the While You Were Out slip in there)
What is the sacred "10 minute x 10 minute" rule?
Don't ask to leave the first 10 or last 10 minutes of class - Unless it's an emergency, I'll say no.
If you finish early, what can you do?
Read a book, work ahead in the packet, work on assignments for another class, etc. - You may NOT just sit there and put your head down.
How much time will I typically give you at the end of class to clean up/pack up? (unless we have a lot to clean)
3-5 minutes
3.) What happens if you run out and need to go?
1.) 12
2.) They become bonus points
3.) You can still go, but you get detention (There are about 24 class periods in the 9 weeks, so that is half the classes)
