The French and Dutch were similar because they both settled in the Northeastern part of North America. They are different because the French owned more land which allowed for more fur trade, while the Dutch had a trading center that was diverse.

Propriety colony is land given to someone by the king, but the king does not control it. The Royal colony is controlled by the king.

A law that allowed different religious toleration and practices.
Why did people in the America need slaves, how did they get slaves?
Needed slaves to operate large plantations for economic growth. They went to Africa to kidnap and purchase slaves to ship to america.
