For the fifth day in a row it’s a 100 degrees. Nathan is so hot, he doesn’t want to play outside.  Nathan’s grandma invites him to walk to the store with her. He plans to buy a cool treat. Everything in the store’s freezer looks good, but he finally chooses an orange Popsicle. On the way home, Nathan trips over a crack in the sidewalk and drops the Popsicle in the dirt. Before he can pick it up and wash it off, a dog grabs the Popsicle and runs off. What a disappointment!
