1. Believe it is Jesus you receive
2. Fast for 1 hour before receiving – only water and medicine allowed
3. Free from mortal sin

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,

What is Original Sin?
the first sin committed by Adam and Eve, which we are all born with and washed away at Baptism

a venial sin is less serious, and a mortal sin is very serious and breaks our relationship with God

It’s a very serious sin, you know it’s wrong, and you freely choose to do it
