A TA rehire states they’ve earned their EA license and wants a TE offer. What do you do?

Step by step:

1. Have rehire email YOU the EA card

2. YOU forward the EA card to Rebeca Ortega 

3. Submit the Rehire-TA obtained credentials slack wf

4. Wait for approval

5. If approved, reach out to TAM/Lead for next steps

6. Once TE 2025 wf is created, move forward with processing the offer

7. If NOT approved, candidate cannot move forward with TE role.

    • If yes, Candidate qualifies to interview for the Tax Associate Role

    • If NOT Refer candidate to IA & continue to process their TPA offer

  • TPA candidate has less than 2 yrs of experience & 30+ returns in the last season? Do they have a Tax Preparation (Badge/Exam?) ?

    • If Yes, Candidate qualifies to interview for the Tax Specialist  Role

A TA rehire candidate has not signed his Offer Letter yet, because he was expecting an offer for the Select-time TA role instead. What do you advise him?

  • Let the candidate know that the application window for that role has closed, and if he did apply, the specialty recruiting team will be reaching out when they start their interview process. (we do not currently have a timeline on when they will start.)

  • Encourage the candidate to sign the offer as is to lock in his SD and role. It will be easier to transfer his SD if he were to start as a Select-time TA.

  • Note: We are currently NOT creating reqs (& therefore not sending HV) for these candidates yet

Who do you reach out to if a rehire states they applied for SelectTime?

  • Right now we are not hiring for SelectTime. Advise rehires that the appropriate recruiting team will be reaching out when they start the hiring process. 

  • If the hiring process has already started and rehires have not heard anything, escalate to Vitaly and Kristy.
