What type of events do we have and explain them?
sisterhoods, mixers, philanthropy events (moonball, sneaker soiree, grilled cheese with Gphi B's, alum events, formals, big little, chapter meetings, retreat, photoshoots, etc etc
How many volunteer hours are required each semester?
5 hours per semester
Why join Gphi?
Explain what is COB (continuous open bidding)?
A way PNMS can join a sorority outside of structured recruitment ANYTHIME there is a spot open.
A PNM expresses how badly she wants to be a gamma phi beta but says even with a payment plan she cannot afford dues and says she would need a full scholarship for her membership. She is an exceptional member of the community, has a 4.0 GPA, already volunteers with girls on the run and is interested in becoming our philanthropy chair if extended membership. Should she get a bid?
No! Although she sounds that she would be a great member of our organization, she cannot afford it in which she would accept a bid and then have to drop due to her inability to pay. This then takes away a spot from someone who can afford our org and would be able to keep her bid and continue with membership. Also leaves us no longer at quota and having to COB for her spot.

FALSE! This is confidential!
What is strict silence?

this restriction ensures that PNMs can make their own decisions about which sorority to join without external influence or pressure.

What is Girls on the Run?
an organization that empowers young girls through physical and social-emotional development programs
Can I discuss our ritual events and procedures with PNMs?
No. A PNM can know that we have rituals but you have to be an INITIATED member to know about our rituals.
The reason we are allowed to do a preference ritual with PNMs is because it was designed to be a public ritual.
True or False: I can discuss what score I gave a PNM with my sisters.
FALSE. This is confidential and votes will not be discussed with anyone other than membership selection if asked for elaboration, or if you have a concern you can bring it to Danielle to fix in Omega Recruit. Strict silence during voting. It is highly inappropriate to discuss your vote on a PNM with others and there will be consequences if done so! Also, PNMs are everywhere, hanging out in the union and hear everything! Don't be discussing our recruitment procedures outside of our recruitment room.
What is a PNM introduction form and where can I find it?
The PNM Introduction Form is a great way to introduce a PNM to a Gamma Phi Beta chapter. The form provides valuable information about the PNM’s involvement and accomplishments, which helps the chapter have quality conversations with the PNM during recruitment. This form replaced the old recommendation form. Chapters are notified if this form is filled out prior to recruitment and can be accessed on the Gamma Phi Beta website!
