A plant is a living thing that grows in the ground and needs sun and water to survive.
What is the job of roots?
Roots bring water and nutrients into the plant.
We get food from the grocery store. How do plants get food?
They make glucose through photosynthesis.

The stem moves nutrients from the roots to the leaves.
